Truny's Cataclysm Heroic Reports: 12/30/2010

HA! EAT POO AND DIE! I bet you are not thinking "Calm the hell down its only vortex pinnacle sheesh!", but I digress, if you've been following my long sad Heroic story this is only the SECOND dungeon Truny has managed to complete.

Why? Oh well we only really pugged a competent tank, the healer and dps were all us guildies.
And no one left halfway through the dungeon /gasp gasp

See it's not that hard, we only had one wipe on the windy dragon!

I finally got rid of that ugly dual-pronged dagger from Grim Batol and replaced it with
Biting Wind, and also found a nice hit cape off the last boss Asaad.

Now that I look at it, I think Truny's found everything that's possibly shiny for a caster DPS in this place...

Until next time, perhaps after the new year's!

Merry Holidays!

Truny's Cataclysm Heroic Reports: 12/29/2010

I queued up with a guildie and we waited the mandatory 40 minutes and we ended up with Vortex Pinnacle.

I buffed the healer, soulstoned them, the tank runs up to the entrance of the stone pillars where the first pull is and..

Tank has left the group

UGGGH okay requeue. We all leave the dungeon to do whatever we were doing.

New tank shows up.

Our healer can not get back in because they were saved prior even though this was a "Random" selection.

Healer has left group

New healer arrives.

Our tank was quite precise with macros galore instructing the team what each marking symbol meant and how we were to focus fire our damage. I like that, efficient.

We get to the first boss and stack in the middle as the cyclone winds pound against us.

The tank notes that the DPS seems to be lacking. We down the boss anyways.

The tank then notes that they did not want to spend hours in a heroic because our DPS was low for that one boss and..

Tank has left the party
Healer has left the party

SAY WHAT?

First of all, I thought that Grand Vizier Ertan's cyclones slowed our casting speed by 85% and two of our DPS, the mage and myself are casters and we both managed to pull 9.5K dps anyways? I could see melee DPS unaffected and perhaps shadow priests who rely mainly on instant cast buttons other than Mind Blast? What's the norm for DPS in heroics where people will not LEAVE for you being slow when there is a mechanic that slows you down and the generally agreed upon strategy was to be slowed down to avoid extraneous mechanics? 15k? Not everyone is supremely geared? Just because we didn't down the boss 30 seconds earlier than you had anticipated this would add an unsurmountable amount of time to the rest of the dungeon? But the next boss buffs our attack speed what are we going to be "dpsing too fast I can not handle this"?

I'm still not quite sure how to handle this boss I have been thinking of stacking in the middle, but placing a Demonic Circle just outside of the cyclones as they approach so I can teleport out and through them, then somehow dodge them as they expand again? I could spam Felfire as I run back in but I'd have to test the actual "touch" radius allowance so I don't get hit by the casting debuff. But they seem to do damage when you're on the "outside" of them? Will the healer hate me (more) for doing so? I will not test this in a PUG that's for sure, I may get removed in the blink of an eye.

However I did manage to Ninja this belt before the end of yet another failed heroic.

Heroic Shadowfang Keep

No tips and tricks here, just a random thought. It's quite funny I remember my little druid at level 20 or so standing in front of Shadowfang Keep spamming the channel and the LFG channel (yes this was way before dungeon finder), trying to attract other newbies in our realm by spamming "LFM H SFK!" to which I received many funny replies.

This was way before the actual mention of the expansion, but look how things change.

SO ANYWAYS what's so great about H SFK you say? Well it is the ONLY heroic dungeon Truny has managed to queue in AND complete so far. I managed to ninja some awesome BLUE items from in there too! It's still kinda hard getting used to being in blues again isn't it? I wasn't alive during the time of vanilla WOW.

What's with people dropping out of groups when something just doesn't go exactly their way?

*You have entered Stonecore*

Healer /whine *Ugh tank why are you taking damage on the first pull*
Healer has left the group.
Tank has left the group.
Some random DPS has left the group.

WHAT THE HELL??

Ok let's requeue for 40 minutes, I only really have time to do this twice a day anyways.

*You have entered Lost City of Whatever'vir*

We make it all the way to the bomber egyptian thing boss (they all look the same)

Tank: "Ok guys stay out of the bombs". /pulls

The poor melee dpser and the healer stands in the bombs.

Healer has left the group.
DPS has left the group.

WHEN HE SAYS DON'T STEP ON THE BOMBS DON'T STEP ON THE BOMBS WHATS SO HARD ABOUT THAT THEY ARE RIGHT IN YOUR EFFING FACE??

(Also I belive they have a blast radius and can explode other bombs around them so I try to stand by the idle ones if possible)

By the way that boss is really funny he totally SLAMS you into the pillar! (And of course this tends to screw up the camera, obscuring land mines, hint hint Warlock Circle)

I forgot what happened but we never finished that place either.

From what I remember the smart mage and the smart warlock were the only ones left in that fight, at 95%+ health. That is before we got nommed by the boss.

Okay, requeue.

*You have entered Throne of Tides*

"Hey everyo-"

Tank has left the group
DPS has left the group
Healer has left the group
Your group has been disbanded

WHAT THE??

So from what I see at the moment, Cataclysm heroics are hard in the sense that it is difficult to find a good group if you are using the Pugger Tool, the actual encounters ... we've seen them all anyways just in different combinations. I don't know, we shall see I will report back soon!

Next Warlock Slave

You know what I am talking about, ALTS! More specifically previously max level alts with max level useful professions which were levelled solely to fund your main character with their useful products!

Who should I level next? Of course I am lazy so there are only four to choose from.

Klupty: JC and Alchemist Slave. I logged onto him yesterday and realized HOLY CRAP he's rich! I had about 6,000 gold on Truny which is seriously not even enough to get a couple dozen points in her tailoring profession as materials and gear and everything is expensive up the hoo-ha on our server. Klupty on the other hand is LOADED as he still has control of my old guild vault and all its treasures, which got me thinking "I should level someone else with all this wealth and make some useless junk for Truny!"

Now to level Jewelcrafting I would have to play my hunter who is the only prospecter I have now. Alchemist is fine as Truny had gathered many a herb on her travels through the new Cataclysm zones.

Klupty is a DK, which means I will most likely be melee dpsing. He is already prepared to do Blackrock Caverns and WAS on the way to discover the Throne of Tides but that was when I saw his wallet and hearthed to hit up the auction house. Frost DPS is nice, good AOE, still kinda button spammy which is completely fine with me. The new spells from 81-85 don't seem THAT exciting, more because they all sound the same to me plague blah blah blah. But I like dual wielding so we shall see.

Turby: The hunter. This was my main remember? He is a fine candidate to level through the new zones next, as I predict that Puppy the what are those dinosaurs called again? Demosaur? No....ah Devilsaur, Puppy the Devilsaur will have 100K hp and can do all the work for him. Also he is a prospector and skinner, yes somehow my hunter became my materials gatherer slave near the end leg of ICC. This could be profitable and I have no gripes about playing my original character again, also the last time I played him in October I remember just having to spam Arcane Shot, which is instant, I like. Also, the new spells from 81-85 are interesting, a shot made for BMs, all traps become launchable, and camouflage! But I'm so used to the Felguard's Felstorm how shall I AOE DPS?

Turny: The durid. He's actually level 81 as I wowarmoried him. WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN? He is the LW and enchanter of the roster (that's why Turby became a skinner) and was intended to be my "very useful alt" as he is heal and tank specced. He can quest fine in bear spec but his preferred way to level is through healing/tanking, though he'll need to gear up a bit more first as his measly 50K HP is now HALF of what my warlock has and probably won't be able to withstand many hits without mass QQ by the party. Though I do have vague memories of tanking Throne of Tides ...hmm. So either its easy to get a group and level fast but I have to use my brain, or questing as a cat. Hmm, not so sure about that one.

Husbrus: My next highest ALT at 78 is Husbrus the priest. She is an enchanter and tailor? I do not remember but I liked the healing style of Discipline Priests. Shield, then spam Smite cause youd' have nothing else to do for a while, run around and holy nova and use your Angel Wings Thing. However I do not like Shadow Priesting at all, it's too....weird, dot dot blast shadow lasers, unless the animations have been revamped to give it more oomph. Still leaning towards the hunter. Though the priest has the benefit of the Healer Queue time, which is 15 min, the old DPS queue time. Also she won't be sad about gear replacement as she never stepped foot into ICC or heck any Wrath heroics, which means at 80 she'll most likely jump from ilvl 200s to ilvl 295s. Weird!

Truny's Comprehensive Cataclysm Demonology Warlock Comments in Non-Comprehensive Fashion!

Screw intros who reads those anyways?

Ok fine, uhhh Deathwing and blah blah earth change and planes water and fire and new spells and dungeons ummm something desert and Thrall is like totally solo-ing the freakin' ocean has anyone noticed that??? Ok STFU.

So since patch 4.0.1 nothing much has really changed, the revamp of skill trees and our demon pretty much remained the same. I say Demon because I mean Felguard.

The Felguard is BEAST .... BEAAST I say! He has his general cleave, which hits all mobs, an axe throw, which is super useful for stunning stray mobs or interrupting healing mobs (I'm talking about YOU Temple Adept!), BUT his/her (I guess the Felguard can be female too?) best skill in single target or AOE is Felstorm. FELSTROM! It's code for Maelstrom! Go look it up I'm too lazy to do the fancy coding and html linking but I'm sure you all know how freakin' awesome it is already! On a 45 second cooldown, the Felguard will spin around and do massive damage I believe it is 5-6 slashes to EVERYTHING around it, I've seen this crit for 11k which is GAAH BEAST! Using Felstorm along with a seed of corruption thrown in, then you using your hellfire = awesome AOE dps, you will then probably do 50% of an arm's warriors damage or 10% of any type of mage's damage. *Ahem* And with the expansion even our PETS have 8950353253 HP they make a pretty good temporary off-tank if maintained a bit.

Fel Flame

At level 81 we get this very interesting spell, an instant cast spell with no cooldown other than the global one. If you're ICC 25 geared this will hit for 1,500 critting for 3,000 I THINK as I've seen it do 4,400 with all the new trinkets and buffs and whatnot.

It's weakish but it's handy cause you can cast it on the fly, for those of us used to casting our DOTS on the move should have no problem getting used to this spell. It adds six seconds to our Immolate, which helps us extend Immolate in case we have to move or can't get Hand of Gul'dan off in time. It is also handy when there is an arm's warrior or mage in the group as things die SO DAMN FAST usually when a mob is at 150K HP or less there is ONLY enough time to spam one or 2 Fel Flames before it is dead *Ahem*

And it's green fire. Pew pew. Pew pew pew pew! (Actually I am lazy, so usually I send my felguard on a mob while questing and just spam Fel Flame...cause it's instant LMAO!)

Dark Intent

Hmmm our first useful "buff" thinger. You can apply this to your Felguard when questing just for the 3% haste. We all know by now what it does right? It first gives whoever has the spell on them and YOURSELF 3% haste, then when their DOTS or HOTS crit it increases the other person's DOT/HOT by 3% effectiveness up to three times so up to 9%.

In short, you gives this to teh heal durid or unholy DK. Or whoever the hell you want heck give it to the tank.

Demon Soul

So close so close we don't actually transform flesh-wise but...we glow with a bloody aura when merged with our felguard. It increases haste by 15% and damage by 10% or something like that, it could be 15% whatever. This has a 2 minute cooldown and when used with Metamorphosis gives you HUGE numbers. Not as huge as a mage though, but for normal people it's pretty good. Use it with bloodlust or mage rage and you'll probably be clipping the gcd!

Mage Rage

Time Warp or Time Wrap or Time Whatever shall henceforth be known as Mage Rage. I need to get used to the sound, it doesn't do the RARARARAARRR like bloodlust but I *think* it goes...*Ding!*

Archaeology

At first I thought "gimmick profession", but it is actually kinda fun in a boring weird obsessive compulsive way. It's so casual oriented. Sort of. I mean, they are infusing lore into the game. Say what? That's great! Truny's skill is only at 80 so I can't say much about it except for when I first started I was like "WTF do I do with these scopes how do I look through them???" Apparently they just point you in the general direction in which you are supposed to dig somewhere else, and the color of the light is a distance gauge. DURR.

New Dungeons

Wow, the queues for the new dungeons are FORTY minutes for DPS??? So in good Old Fashioned er fashion, all epic items are ACTUALLY epic so there will be no more Rain of Loots. As most of the action is taking place on Azeroth I believe this represents when the game was only capped at level 60. Purples only come from raids. Fair enough. But it feels kinda weird replacing Nibelung with some random boss dagger o_O!

To run certain dungeons one must have the appropriate "average gear level", I believe it is like 272 for the first two and yeah I don't remember I just remember heroic is 329.

Truny being the snob that she is had some trouble reaching that number as she refused to equip green items just to boost her average item level, whatever.

Ok I'm losing track of what this post is about now okay bye!

Where Do I Go??

So I *think* I downloaded Cataclysm? I log in and try to queue for the new dungeons as I am probably just going to play this game as per, grind grind grind to end level then max out gear then get bored BUT it said "You do not meet the requirements for this dungeon".

I have to PHYSICALLY WALK to the entrance? Where are these dungeons? How do I even GET from Dalaran back to the other cities? Will the other cities have a guaranteed spot to travel to these new spots?

You are now thinking "Goddamn it Truny go explore like the good old days!"

Oh right....they changed the maps and we can FLY on earth now!

But, this is just a massive Epeen stroke anyways, I am scared to go back to Orrigigirmmar (spelling) it'll just be thousands of people afk sitting on their shiny dragons (I am on the zeppelin back as we speak as I just remembered this archaic form of transportation). I will continue to type this as we go.

--

So apparently to get into Throne of Tides I have to get to Vash'jr, how?? Where's the instructions? Is it a teleport do I have to unlock the teleport do I have to go to the teleport to unlock it or do I have to unlock it in a chain elsewhere?

--

Omg I can fly over Undercity now FINALLY now that it is no longer needed, bah!

--

Ok I will try to get to Origigimmar and look for a starter quest of sorts, everyone who remained on my friend's list is already 85 how is that possible the game's been out for a week!?

--

Ok wait so is all this new dungeon stuff going to blow ICC 25 gears out of the water? One thing I don't like about coming back is that I still have the tendency to optimize everything, I shall write about my adventures in LOTRO perhaps later D:

--

Yep OMG I am right I'm not sure what part of Org this is but its filled with AFK dragon mounts GAH! Alright now to find the Archaeology trainer??

--

Ok wow this is exciting someone in an animated picture frame wants to talk to me, Krogar!

--

Ok I saw a pretty cutscene....now what??

--

Ok I trained archaeology and holy crap this is way too much info to read, I'll just figure it out later.

--

Whoa wait a minute the daily cata dungeon gives 104K exp?? ....ok then...ok I'm on the boat to Vashjr now.

--

Budd on the boat, he's a bucket of fabulous rainbows now isn't he?? o_O

--

First quest of the expansion: Collect Starfish for me EFF YOU!!

--

Bahaha why am I selling vendor trash I forgot we're rich in this game! Fish Oil -> EFF YOU!

--

"What's it got in its pockets" ??? PRECIOUS?? OMG HAHAHA

--

Ok nothing new and exciting for now I shall just post this LMAO!

Anyone Playing FF14?

I remember trying out the Beta to FF14 a long long time ago and.....wow, really?

Where to begin where to begin? Ok let's start at character creation. That is nice, the variations can vary to a very wild degree. Either a normal looking human, or a short mustached lady with an affro. That's nice.

There were different starting towns and each of them had a little tutorial sceneamajig with lots of cutscenes with your character in them. Ok.

Then you are thrown into the world and you are now wondering: What do I do? I swear, even in FF12 NPCs with quests or something important to say would have some sort of notificiation on their heads? We're not expecting a yellow arrow, but how about a whisper or on screen yelling at us?

The main quest line to each area is interesting enough, I guess, but to progress you need to be at a certain level. So what do you do to level? You go and level.

It seemed the major way to level was either to do these sort of mission quests which have 36 hour cooldowns (wtf), and provide no significance to the story, or to the world really. It's more like "Hi, these goblins attacked my wife at her farm, go kill 6". Ok.

The mobs you see on THESE quests will be easy enough to kill. The map will have an arrow to point you in the direction to go. But on your way to these mobs, you will encounter the natural mobs of the environment, this is the funny part. You'll see various animals and creatures, some low level, and some able to kill you in one or two hits all packed together. Why?

After a while of playing it took me a while to figure out the "color coding" for mobs. It seemed that BLUE meant easy, GREEN meant equal to you, ORANGE meant difficult, and RED meant deadly?

But that sometimes was untrue, sometimes you can kill an Orange mob easily and quickly while a blue mob will kill you?? Whaat?

Oh and you can't jump in this game. Nor can your character "drop" from a 4" ledge in the ground, as any environmental structure with x and y axis at a 90 degree angle constitutes as a physical barrier in which you have to walk around. Lame.

Tabbing around to switch targets while you fight is irrelevant. The first selection is always yourself, what if I don't have heals or self buffs? Why? The next is the mob you are fighting, the next is the mob all the way out on a mountain, and it will circle around. If you are fighting 2 mobs, good luck. It is faster to click. Oh but the clicking is not very accurate, as the in-game mouse was very slow. I do believe they are correcting this or have corrected it for retail release.

A good thing is: You can be any class you want! When you make your toon you are told to choose a class, but in reality you can just switch. All you have to do to switch roles is to equip that role's weapon.

Oh here comes the next part: Equipment.

Say you found some really awesome pants while fighting, you want to see them right away? Oh no this game does not believe in instant gratification. You can not just push "I" to open up your bags, you must navigate the Main Menu > Inventory. To actually EQUIP these pants, you can not use the Inventory menu, you must use the Equip menu, where you must select your pants on your character panel which will open up another window showing everything in your bags, you must then (most likely) scroll down and find those pants you were wearing, then equip them.

See, this would make total sense if the game were played on a console. When you are limited to a dozen buttons, this pace is expected.

Can someone tell me if we can create a macro that goes directly to the Equipment menu? How do we set-up macros?

Ask a friend in game! Oh wait, to talk to a friend, you must type /tell (friend's first name) (friend's last name) every single effing time! So..

Apparently there is an in-game "cellphone" which you can use which expediates this mess? But then again you probably have to open up some main menu, and add your friend to that list and...yeah let's not go there.

Let's see what's next on the complaint list? Don't worry essentially every funciton you now take for granted in games are in this list.

Oh right, equipping items was a pain. Ok so you were a mage now you want to be a warrior, easy go buy a sword. NOT as easy as it seems. The NPCs have no indication of what type of wares they sell you must find the NPC which sells the type of items you need then just remember where they are each time you need that specific class/type of items.

So if you managed to find that sword, let's go and level! Each time you level you get stat points, and elemental points. Seems simple enough? There's Strength, Vitality, Agility, Dexterity, Int, Mind, and Charisma? Mind? What does that do?

Then the elemental points have no indication what they do, I believe they are the type of element you would like to have higher resistances in. At first I thought it was the type of element that I would do the most damage in. Who knows!

Along with the basic "levelling" classes you can also choose to work on "gathering" classes like mining, fishing, I forget, and something something.

I ran out of the day.5.ly quests and decided to do some fishing deeds. Buy a fishing rod, equip it. BAM my skill list now has fishing skills, and some fishing "attacks". (In cooking, there is an ability called "Flick Wrists" LMAO)

You can track for fish, then use your "fish" button. Then it gets really complicated, especially for those of us who over-think things.

"How far do you want to cast your line"....wait what? Wait I don't know, can you please tell me if this is a fresh water lake, how deep it is, what the fish count is and the type of fish so I can better tell if the fish tend to be near the shore, or near the middle? What what? Ok I don't know so stressful umm ...choose a random distance.

"How deep do you want your line to sink"...ok wait so again how deep is the WATER? or is this a percentage or a ratio of the total depth of the water? I quit the game after that.

Graphics: Very very nice, when you're walking along the plains you can see the grass move and the wind blowing dust across the field. Character and mob models were very nice and detailed as well, the movements to the characters had very good weight behind them.

Otherwise I didn't find the game to be able to be very immersive. Not that WOW was immersive, wow is more pew pew pew pew but, there's not much to do at the moment other than kill the same enemies for many many levels.

Wait two years and see. I had more to complain about but I am getting bored so goodbye.

The Hallowed!

Oh hai! Wow it's been ...TWO weeks since my last post jeez what's going on? Well, no one cares!

Hmm so when the Hallow's End events were running this is essentially what I was doing:

First few days: Doing all the necessary achievements to become "The Hallowed", which meant trading or buying getting wanded in town. Done done and done! The only thing missing for a LONG time was getting a Toothpick to drop in the trick or treat bags and since I only had time to trick or treat once a day (damn you one HOUR cooldown!), this was about a week in until it was completed.

But wait, there is another cool item that drops from this event: The QQ Horse! So we begin.

Next few days:

Log in:

Truny, queue for Horseman. Trick or Treat. Kill Horseman in 15 seconds. Open bag. Log off.
Turny, queue for Horseman. Trick or Treat. Kill Horseman in 15 seconds. Open bag. Log off.
Turby, queue for Horseman. Trick or Treat. Kill Horseman in 15 seconds. Open bag. Log off.
Klupty, queue for Horseman. Trick or Treat. Kill Horseman in 15 seconds. Open bag. Log off.
Husbrus, queue for Horseman. Trick or Treat. Kill Horseman in 15 seconds. Open bag. Log off.

This took all but 20 minutes MAX. No horses, eff you. Try again tomorrow.

A few days later.

Truny, queue for Horseman. Trick or Treat. Kill Horseman in 15 seconds. Open bag. Log off.
Turny, queue for Horseman. Trick or Treat. Kill Horseman in 15 seconds. Open bag. Log off.
Turby, queue for Horseman. Trick or Treat. Kill Horseman in 15 seconds. Open bag. Log off.
Klupty, queue for Horseman. Trick or Treat. Kill Horseman in 15 seconds. Open bag. Log off.
Husbrus, queue for Horseman. Trick or Treat. Kill Horseman in 15 seconds. Open bag. Log off.

Klupty got the Horseman's Reins, good don't have to play my stupid DK anymore. Dropped onthe wrong toon, eff you. Continue.

Next day:

Truny, queue for Horseman. Trick of Treat. Kill Horseman in 15 seconds. Open bag. Log off.
Turny, queue for Horseman. Trick of Treat. Kill Horseman in 15 seconds. Open bag. Log off.
Turby, queue for Horseman. Trick of Treat. Kill Horseman in 15 seconds. Open bag. Log off.
Husbrus, queue for Horseman. Trick of Treat. Kill Horseman in 15 seconds. Open bag. Log off.

Truny got the Horseman's Reins, excellent my main and collector got the mount. Don't have to play all my other dumb alts anymore or my Warlock until the Harvest Festival or whatever the hell they call it!

Essentially there is no meaning to playing since WoW is so focused on end-game, so what we are all 80. But with all the pre-Cataclysm changes, our characters are effectively an entire Legacy ahead of the current World. Bosses dying in FIVE seconds, HEALERs tanking and pulling. And the WORST part: Dual speccing only costs 100 gold. WHY? It's not special and expensive anymore! If anything it should cost DOUBLE since all our classes are so strong now. Penance, Thunderstorm, FELGUARD...all at level 10? Oh man! Though for new players this should put some oomph into the 1-79 boredom. Though most players would be jaded into thinking their characters are super strong, such as a level 20 warlock solo'ing RFK without breaking a sweat. Just wait till Cataclysm hits, trash mobs in RFK will have 30,000 HP.

Training Dummies. Yes even my video was at a training dummy cause I couldn't get any live action because at this point in the game, any spell that takes longer than 1.3 seconds to cast effectively is useless as most things are dead. Trying to actually SEE a full priorities rotation? Good luck, you'll need Arthas for that.

Maybe I should get into Icecrown again, I heard they removed the DODGE DEBUFF? Say what? Why? I still feel bad for having burnt out by Sindragosa as "the aaassy winds of noohthrend will consyuuume our souls!", no Defile stories for Truny.

Ok what was I talking about again? Oh well

Funny Search Terms: 2.0

At least I THINK this is 2.0. Here we go! Oh right so these are the google/search engine terms that get linked to Kluptomania and here are some that I found quite amusing.

1. "hunter or warlock for cataclysm"

In terms of fun-ness damage-ness, playability, pet styles? They are two different animals here. Are you a first time player, current hunter player, warlock, both? o_O

2. "what is gear score for (item) / gear score of (item)"

Why does it matter? You should be looking at the STATS and see how it compares to your CURRENT item in question??

3. "3.3.3 easypeasy "

Indeed!

4. "5 paladins ionar "

A daring video venture? Five paladins one ionar? Poor Ionar....so many hands all over you......

5 "best warlock heroic gear talents 3.3.3 "

Gear doesn't give you talents. Or skill.

6. "brown s&m mask"

Well, if you would like to see a digital animated version on an avatar, please feel free to buy WOTLK and acquire any non-raid cloth helm in Northrend. Thanks.

7. "does the shriveled heart ever drop anymore"

A question asked by millions I am sure.

8. "felguard "cleave off""

Right click it. Thanks.

9. "(dungeon) gearscore"

Dungeons don't have gearscores, the stuff that drops from them sort of do. I don't know I like to base it on ilvls. Whatever.

10. "hate rating shadowbolt"

I'm sure Shadowbolt infuses more hate than Incinerate, but less hate than Bane of Doom!

11. "i rolled a 2 for the nibelung"

We all know that feeling LMAO

12. "level 76 warlock gear score"

Why do you even care for gearscore at level 76 just play the goddamn game!

13. "pig-giant swirls squishies rare"

I don't uhh...ok?

14. "stop attacking darnavan!"

STOP attacking him he's for the QUEST that everyone picked up jeez!

15. "ultimate demonology warlock gear 3.3.5"

So dramatic!

16. "why would a priest roll on shriveled heart"

I am guessing the priest WON the roll. Cause it's one of the best offhands that is easily obtainable!

17. "woven her pants leggings"

Oh so close. Leggings of Woven Death?

Demonology 4.0.1: More Updates! Yeah I'm Slow!

Remember how I was talking about Demonology AOE, well I missed a VERY important factor to it: The Felguard's Felstorm.

Felstorm is BEAST. It has a 45 second cooldown, but what it does is it gives your Felguard a nice whirlwind attack that lasts for six seconds, striking everything around it for about 3.5-4.5k every second.

For that six seconds your Felguard will do about 80% of your entire Hellfire's damage. o_O

It is quite a sight to behold, especially when Meta is popped two crazy demons jumping into the fray destroying everything.

This sure beats standing back casting Rain of Fire, or shall I say Drizzle of Slightly Warm Embers.

I found Felstorm to be nice in single target encounters too, since it gives you an instant burst of damage, and given its 45 second cooldown you could probably only use it once per boss anyways.

In PVP Felstorm is nice, if a rogue stuns you just have your felguard start spinning like a crazy, that'll really annoy 'em! If they try to run away, use your felguard's new Axe Toss! (Requires Two Handed Axes apparently)

Other Stuff I found Changed

Yeah so rather than a comprehensive one page entry I am being lazy, slowly discovering things. That's where the fun is at right?

Soul Shatter: (Finally) reduces threat by 90%, yes NINETY not Fifty (50), to everything around you in 50 yards.

NINETY!

I think actually Soul Shatter was the only thing haha! Though we'll have fun with our rather reckless aoe everything to the ground style of play, once comes Cata I think we will need to rethink our game-plan. But then again warlocks don't have any CCs to help the team do we? Fear? Since when was the last time Fear did us any good? Fear and Death Coil are highly selfish CCs, you save yourself but you might have feared the mob into more mobs!

Oh well.

Demonology 4.0.1: Continued!

There has been this glitchy going around where our damage and heals done to others during instances do NOT show on the screen.

That is a lie, it actually shows but your camera has to be at an obscure angle, and only then the numbers display slantedly.

This was quite frustrating for a DPS class, we need to know how much impact each spell is doing to see if its worth casting anymore, especially after so much CHANGE!

Our AOE: Spec into moving Hellfire. THIS is your new AOE if you are a Demonologist. Again, make sure you are the bestest friends with the healer, make a great big show about putting a soulstone on them or something like that!

See, I do not read tooltips. At first I was trying to use Seed of Corruption spam, which pulled in a good 15k before, but something felt odd. "Can only be applied to one target at a time". So what you COULD do is just keep casting it on one target and having it explode. This is now weak sauce as you can not "chain" the explosions, taking advantage of the time-overlap benefit of being able to cast another seed. (That made sense to me so I don't care)

Hellfire: This ticks for about 1.5k every second for 15 seconds, it doesn't hit as hard as seed of corruption which can crit for up to 5k (it seems weaker now), but it is a constant aura that you can move and control! That is nice. You also get the benefit of activating the spell INSTANTLY on demand and it ticks right away. Nice.

Hellfire + Demonform + Immolation Aura: This is gross. I have yet to test it on anything to see the destruction this can bring.

"But who cares about DPS in trash", yeah but think about in a battleground, NOW people will think twice about walking near a giant purple demon!

And you get to run and jump around like a crazy person, just like a resto druid but all while burning your enemies to crispy cinders!

Now the random babbling part:

Ok, so is it just me or is Rain of Fire completely weak and useless now? I swear it used to crit for 5k now it is only critting for 2.5k?? Since I couldn't see the damage numbers, I had to use a lot of effort to actually click on my name in recount and READ and analyse the numbers...gawd.

Is there a talent that increases its potency in the destruction tree?

Warlockogy

Having levelled up another healer, Husbrus the Priest, she's seen her fair share of warlocks in dungeons. This was pre 4.0.1, but most everything stays the same.

It seems a lot of people are really just using their Felguard to level, but not really paying attention to the priority of their spells and how to optimize their damage while in a dungeon. If you aren't contributing 100% GTFO, this game's not about having fun its about mastering your class so you don't drag everyone behind with your stupidity.

I've seen a lot of Demonology Warlocks just sit there they'll cast their two dots then throw out shadowbolts for the entire fight.

What happened to Molten Core...or Decimation? What happened to the "OMG SEE THAT CRIT?" mentality? Is that all gone? Why WOULDN'T you want to cast a free humungo Soul Fire? Demon Form + Soulfire?

A lot of the time I'm sitting around looking pretty (I'm the healer DUH there's nothing to do really), and my warlock trained ears will hear a Molten Core proc off the warlock beside me, and I expect to see them cast three incinerates. I watch the screen (cause I am otherwise reading a book or watching the TV behind me).

Shadowbolt.

UGH.

I don't care if you don't care, but ...why did you spec into Molten Core to begin with if you're never going to use it? Did you just find a random build online and copy it? What's the point you might as well put your talent points into improved corruption since you cast THAT!

You know instead of doing 4.5k dps that fight you could have done 4.52K!! That extra 0.02k could have shaved off an average of 0.0000375 seconds off of the entire dungeon run!

Ok yeah bye!

Demonology Warlocks: Patch 4.0.1

Wow, so I come home and realize that the game had been downloading a FIVE gigabyte file! So they were for serious with all the changes!

What great fun is there for 4.0.1? What's new for us Demo Warlocks?

Well for one, the talent trees have been super dumbed down. We only have 31 talent points to spend! (5 after the expansion!)

But so far, things are looking good!

New Spells/Rotation/Cool Things
Hand of Gul'dan
This was the meteor that I was so excited about, however for now it only does shadow crash looking damage, and leaves a shadow aura for mobs to stand in, which increases our pets critical chance. I thought it was a fire meteor that did shadow damage not a shadow meteor? Oh well! Through the talent tree this spell refreshes our Immolate and I found it hard to get used to casting this extra weird spell and always missing the refresh. It hits hard, up to 22k!This spell is now our single strongest stand alone nuke on a 12 second cooldown. This is of course not true if you were in Decimation mode, spamming Soul Fires.

This spell gets top priority in our list of nukes. I will think of the list as I keep going.

Bane of Doom

Bane of Doom still lasts for one minute, but does a fairly hard hitting tick every 15 seconds. From what I see the tick does about 10-12k damage, and crits for well over 20k! Through our Demonology talent tree, every tick has an increased chance to summon a "Guardian", or was it "increase the damage done by the guardian"? I don't know I don't really read the text.
So far I have seen Ebon Imps spawn and they seem to last for 15 seconds, that is until the next tick of damage of the Bane.
This is nice, an extra 15 second pet, and now Bane has a higher chance of doing damage, rather than expiring before one minute has past!
Hellfire
Yes, talented, we can use this while we WALK! So make sure you are the very bestest friends with the healer! Try to find the most creative places to use this!
Soul Burn/Soul Harvest/Soul Shards
Instant Soulfires. The end. Soul Burn has a 45 second cooldown.
Soul Harvest: EWW, this is the same animation as Evocation, I am sure mages are crying all over as are Warlocks who first tried this spell out and saw EWW EVOCATION. Right, functionality, uhhh this spell regenerates our shards and heals us. Whatever.
Soul Shards: I finally have a free bag! Now to fill it up with random random crap!
Impending Doom
I save the best for last!
THIS is the talent that increases the chance Ebon Imps spawn out of your Bane of Dooms. Remember, Demonologists are the masters of summoning Ebon Imps out of Banes and we all know that!
The great part of this talent is that Shadow Bolt, Hand of Guldan, and Incinerate all have a 15% chance of reducing the cooldown on: METAMORPHOSIS!
Yes, rather than having a static 2.something minutes (talented) cooldown on Metamorphosis, after pew pewing for a while you will see that your Demon Form has refreshed and ready for use!
I actually didn't notice yesterday when I did a test run on one dungeon. The timing of when Meta is up was pretty ingrained into my Warlocky Patterns but after the first boss fight I looked down to see Metamorphosis was ready again...I thought to myself "wait didn't I just use it in battle? Or did I forget? No way!"
Try it out on a target dummy, turn into a demon then go through your attacks and you'll see the cooldown decrease!
Ok Now What
So with all the new changes we would assume our priority rotation is as follows:
Curse of Elements>Bane of Doom>Immolate>Corruption>Hand of Gul'Dan>Shadowbolt until Hand of Gul'dan's cooldown is up, and wait for Molten Core procs. Prioritize Hand of Gul'dan (damn this spell is too long to type I quit) and cast it everytime it is ready even if you have to stand around for 0.5 seconds waiting for it else you have to recast Immolate anyways!
Hey Look a Video
Yes, as it says I was testing all this new crap out and I thought it was PRETTY AWESOME that we can have multiple pets up, even though it is short lived.
Here Blagroon the Felguard is joined by an Ebon Imp, the new Doomguard (insta cast, lasts for over a minute talented and ten minute cooldown), and a Nibelun Angel of Smiting Goodness! Roooar need more minions!!

Goodbye

I don't know why my text WON'T CHANGE styles this blogger crap sucks!

Wait what? What patch?

Apparently patch 4.0.1 is being implemented right as I type this, and you know what? I'm not as excited as say....patch 3.3.3, or whatever that other big change patch was.

So we get to use all the new talent trees that we got to preview earlier?

Annoying. I have eight toons all with dual spec except for my Mage and Shaman (which I am having a very hard time levelling to 30). So to figure ALL those trees out, /ragequit

Chill of the Throne Removed?

What? Why? It's not like our 85K hp tanks were having any troubles?

Reforging?

Cool. But sounds annoying. I want haste.

Hunters

Turby doesn't need to waste bag space carrying ammo. Yes.
Time to go pet hunter, TWENTY pets! You already know what I'm going to do: Collect and name all twenty pets PUPPY. I think I still have a dinosaur called Nejibana, or maybe I abandoned him =(
Focus: Good. I hate mana that's un-lifetappable.

Death Knights

I refuse to tank in blood presence! It's so...RED. I think I'll make my tanking tree a DPS unholy tree now.

Druid

What's Eclipse?

Mage

Teleport? I'm seriously too lazy to find the reagant master on my mage. She only has normal mount which is SO slow I just leave her in place and log out.

Paladin

Resource bar? Holy Meter? Ok.

Warlock

New spell fly-out thingy. Good, saves me slots on my action bar to put my non combat pets LMAO
Soul Shards are officially gone. Finally. Extra bag!

That's about it. I still don't think I like how gear is being itemized in Cataclysm. It reminds me of all the USELESS green items we find +99 STR. +77 SPIRIT.

Is it really making things simpler? Is our current system really that complicated?

Say you found a staff that gives:

+105 INT
+150 STAM
+105 SPIRIT

+105 HASTE
+100 CRIT
+895 SPELLPOWER

Three Sockets

Just from looking at the stats you know that the INT is going to add to your mana pool, increase your crit by a little bit.

The STAM will add stamina. DUH.

The Spirit will increase your mana regen but also 40% of it will go into your spellpower.

The additional stats are pretty obvious.

Why do we need to condense all this in Cataclysm to:

+700 STAMIN
+650 INT
+50 MASTERY

Isn't that even more confusing and vague? What does this INT stat comprise itself of? It's a neat little package but its less transparent, see what I'm saying?

So in the future, the higher the INT and Mastery the better? Isn't that a bit boring?

Oh I have another question: Are all the gear in Cataclysm going to be BROWN (or varying shades of it), just like when we were levelling the first 10 levels and first three tiers of Northrend?

However, I did see some spoiler footage of Cata dungeon runs and they do look satisfyingly difficult, rather un-face-rollable, and requires everyone know how to manage their class....even on trash mobs! Though in that video the mage had 75K HP so....hmm......

OK BYE
Are there going to be SM Masks? Rusty swords? Are those days over?

Brewfest Over: "Quitting" Again

Not that anyone cares that I am "quitting" again, nor should Blizzard care that I am "quitting", they still have million and millions of subscribers and ALSO, when I don't play I just don't play it's not as if I took the effort to go ALL the way into my account settings and took the effort to click "Unsubscribe", remember, I'm too lazy for that.

Now that Brewfest is over, again I find there is absolutely no point in logging into any of my level 80s. The daily 20 minutes of kthxbaicorenlols is no more. Not until next year. I want that RAM. Who doesn't want to ride on a freakin 'ram that BAA's? OMG! So of the 10 or so days, over 4 toons a day so 40 times getting that Keg thingamajigger I have received:

1. Countless frost badges. Extra good because it took about 15 seconds of effort.
2. Three Tankard of Terrors. Whatever.
3. Four Direbrew Remotes. Truny has two.
4. A Kodo, which Turny ALREADY had. What a waste throwing it away.

No RAM! But that's ok, my alliance hunter has a Ram mount. As long as its there.

So about these Frost Badges and Restoration Druiding.

Why? The two piece bonus is nice, wild growth heals more always. But the four piece...meh, why would I want rejuv to randomly jump to someone, when if I saw them take damage I would cast rejuv on them ANYWAYS?

Sure it'd be really nice to know that someone had it, but even so, most of our natural reflex is to hit rejuv FIRST then swiftmend. Unless this is intended for druids to play at an even higher level! In that case, make the Rejuv jump more often. Laame and fat!

I've hoarded enough Frost Badges for the T10, either Restoration or Bear for Turny but at this point I don't feel its needed.

Anyways, I'll be back bitching and complaining and rejoicing over random stupid stuff for Hallow's End I guess.

Truny's Warlock Tips: Festergut

Let's continue with the Plagueworks shall we?

There is a whole preamble of trash that your party can have fun facerolling through, including two dogs, Precious and Fluffy? I seriously don't remember or care.

Festergut aka Festerloots is on the left side of the hallway which allows you to either engage him or Rotface. Once both of them are dead you may go and murder Professor Putricide.

What does he do??: Essentially, the battlefield is covered in gas which does damage overtime based on the density of the gas. This fight is mainly a cycle of high raid damage and low tank damage, to high tank damage (healers be on your toes), to low low raid damage. Wait say what? Density? Well, Festerloots will inhale 25% of the gas, up to three times. Each time he inhales the gas it will do less damage to the raid. But makes him hit the tank harder.

So what? Nothing really, use your Shadow Ward warlocks! The gas does shadow damage!

Spread out 8 yards please. He will also make random ranged people PUKE, incapacitating them for 6 seconds and doing damage to them. You can't do anything about it. But SPREAD OUT because anyone else hit by the puke will also become incapacitated and puke, and this cause a raid wipe if someone gets too close to the tank.

After he has absorbed all the gas, he will then expunge it all doing enormous damage to the entire raid something like a billion damage. Use your shadow ward here.

Wait what a billion? Well no, but it's a lot. And here is where the next key element of this fight comes in.

Spores spawn on random party members. DBM will helpfully mark spored peoples. What these spores do is that after a certain duration of time, they will EXPLODE and (de)buff anyone caught in the explosion with a shadow resistance buff, which stacks 3 times.

WARLOCKS: When you enter the room, drop your Green Teleporty Fun Thing. This will be the gather point for ranged people. So while everyone is doing their thing, when the spores spawn, you can instantly teleport to the gathering point to get the shadow buff and continue pew pewing.

Be aware, one person with the spore should be in to cover the ranged asses, and another should run into melee if it doesn't spawn in melee.

The cycle repeats after three spores have spawned, hopefully everyone has three stacks. Then he'll do his giant gas release, but don't worry cause the shadow buff will save you. Use your Shadow Ward again, you'll probably take 0 damage.

Metamorphosis: You should be able to use this cooldown right at the beginning of the fight, and once again when he's in Decimation mode depending on raid DPS. If not, save it for the latter half to beat his enrage!

TL;DR: Cause I sure as hell didn't read all that.

1. Use your Demonic Circle as the ranged meeting point for spores. This saves YOU time. And if YOU have the spore you can just teleport and make the OTHER person go into melee.

2. Use Shadow Ward. Every cooldown you see, just do it!

3. Spread out!

Now What: Ok go loot him, thanks.

Not This Gong-Show Again!

You know how after you've gotten all your gear, having ran X dungeon so many times, you never feel the urge to go back..ever? It's kind of like the end-game rut, but not end game? Yeah, think TOC 5 woman *shudder*

Remember when Truny was running Heroic Halls of Reflection like it was going out of style all for Shriveled Heart? Oh the amount of search engine results this blog got for that one item, well HA here's another entry for it LMAO!

I just remembered that Turny also picked up
Midnight Sun yesterday and what other offhand is better for it than the easily (UH HUH) obtainable Shriveled Heart?? Yes I get to heal for a purpose again! I purchased the ilvl200 Handbook of Obscure Remedies to fill in for it, since the dagger itself is 120 spellpower stronger than Perdition, but without many other stats, but that's okay!

Turny the Stabbity Stab Again in Your Ass

Brewfest! and Updates..

It's a sad week, I realized Truny missed the Pirate Day thing, hence she won't have the achievement for the violet thing next year. However, I did do the annoying little brewfest events and got her the Brewmaster title. I'm still running the daily Coren Direbrew Keg Lotto everyday on all the four characters that are 80, usually this takes 20 minutes total.

Log in. Queue, kill. Leave group log out and switch.

So far I have got two of those Tankard of Thingers, maybe I will save them for Shinjen my shaman, if she ever goes enhance and needed tankards? Who knows, they are only worth 80G on the auction house now.

What else has been new lately? Nothing. I've been randomly playing my other toons on and off, hrmmm, this is what happened over the span of about...2 hours.

Truby the paladin went from 48 to 50.

Paladins are the crazy shit and are so OP right now. Yeah I'm talking about retribution. Even though it is faster, like insta-queue faster to get into a dungeon as a tank I am still queuing as RETLOL just cause it's so OMFGDIE!

But the cooldowns are really weird, and if one mob dies and everything is on cooldown, and when I switch to another mob I have to right click to begin attacking which is SUPER annoying so I put the auto-attack button back on my bar, along with divine wrath vengeance holy hand of righteous hammer whatever the hell all these abilities are.

I think I could have prevented a group wipe if I could fuggin' tell the effen difference between all the freakin different shields paladins have, oh wait do I have divine shield, or wait is that power word shield oh no wait wrong class, oh shit why does cleanse have the same icon as renew, oh crap where's the ability called "PALLY BUBBLE" what the hell is the REAL name for that anyways? What's with all the text after all these abilities like I can't use it within 30 seconds of some holy avenging something and not during some other righteous something or other wtf wtf?? I just wanted to use that thing you know that some people have cast on me before where I went completely immune to everything for 3 minutes and the paladin suicided do I even have that yet? Can I cast that thing bound to my '9' key on other people?

Why was I even trying to be helpful I should just stick to: Consecrate, hammer thing that when you hit you get hp back, crusader strike, use exorcism if that yellow icon has procced, which I *think* is the exact same icon as prayer of mending, then use the thing that procs when the mob is at 20% or below I think its' called Hammer of DIE NOW! I watch that like a hawk, like kill shot! And of course that shield looking ability that taunts and does damage when stuff is at low health. But who cares if you taunted paladins don't die!

And buffing other people. Fuck off! Go buff yourself, we're not doing heroic icc we don't really NEED to. Everything can get kings cause its the only one I recognize and its bound to my '8' key. I give myself the hand one.

Ok what else, oh yes then I make sure my Seal of Red One is on, and not all the other seals which are scattered all around my keybinds. The red one procs all sorts of crazy damage.

Druny the Mage is 25, from 24...

Playing at 25 means you will go out of goddamn mana every single fuckin' pull. I respecced to fire, because almost NO ONE is fire nowadays except for this one amazing mage I saw while on my paladin who pulled 530 dps at level 50 by using all these aoes, he seriously had like 10 aoes going on!

But at 25, I should have reset my expectations.

Flamestrike, Blizzard, OOM. Shit. And stuff is still alive! Do I still use frostbolt if fire specced? I spent an entire rfk just trying to see what the optimal rotation was. Yes at 25 and already worrying about this stuff. It wasn't fun.

Do I use scorch? It's "Improved", but its so weak! Or do I use fireball? which takes like 2 minutes to cast? Pyroblast? That takes 20 minutes to cast, and isn't THAT much stronger?

Druny can stay at 25 for a bit longer.

Shinjen the Shaman went from 18-23

I have always thought the idea of a shaman was excellent, great, delicious. What spell is more awesomer than chain lightning?

I actually bought the wrong BOA stuff for her. I got her the SP Leather, and then later I realized OH SHIT Shamans wear mail, oh well she used to wear the cloth set so yeah ok bye.

Healing as a shaman pre level 20 is a joke. Why? Because the only spell you get is HEALING WAVE. Yes the big heal. Why do we start with the big heals?

Good thing one shadowfang keep run got Shinjen to 20. The pulls were like this:

Tank gets mobs, I'd have to start casting BEFORE he pulls or else the 52 second cast time of Healing Wave won't make it and he'll die. Luckily it refillls half his HP.

Once she hit 20 and got LESSER Healing Wave things started to be more "normal", and less mana intensive. Along with healing stream totem.

Oh yeah, totems. What the hell? Why are there SO many earth totems? Stoneskin, stoneclaw, strength of earth, strength of skin, grounding, tremor, Earthbind, earthskin, say what?

I was pretending to be an optimal shaman and wanted to use the optimal totem on each pull, but our party DIED because by the time I read and understood the functionability of each and every ground totem everyone had already died and the mobs were running to me!

After that I just clicked on whatever totem I used last, one of the yellow ones.

Runy the Rogue....didn't change.

I had a lot of fun pvp'ing with Runy. Last year. In the 50s bracket, where subtlety attacks could one shot casters, annoying the hell out of them!

Outlands was okay, I'm not sure how I managed to get him to 70.

Then I went to Northrend.

Some of the initial quests are: Go kill a wolf.

Ok.

Engage combat. Miss miss miss hit hit hit hit hit hit 5 combo points. Eviscerate. 1k. My own hp is at half. Hit hit hit hit miss miss miss. Stun. Bandage. Hit hit hit hit hit. Battle over. One wolf down.

WHAT?

So I should use evasion on every pull?

No no calm down, rogues are for the stealths. Ok so I go Subtlety mode. Ambush. 2k crit. Oh crap its not dead. Hit hit hit hit hit hit miss miss miss miss miss miss. Forget it!

Being a dps whore, running the random dungeons was no fun either. Other than Killing spree, I'm just spamming two buttons. Which is no fun as half the time they don't land!

Runy can stay 70 for another year, that was a fun 15 minutes.

Husbrus the Priest is still 73.

I did TWO quests upon arriving in Northland, since Husbrus is shadowspec, I found her MUCH more efficient and ABLE to do quests than say, my ROGUE. 3 GCDs mobs are dead, rather than the 20 or so GCDs for the rogue. After that it took too much effort to walk from Warsong hold to the shore, so I just started healing and healing and healing. So that'll be the story for her, heal to 80.

Turny the Druid can Lifetap. This was not part of that 2 hours of alt-fun.

I just logged on to queue for Coren Direbrew, because he has free frosts, and its faster than running an entire dungeon for those frosts, yeah I'm getting lazy usually I'd do both for 4 but...meh we don't need that stuff anymore right?

So I logged in at my usual spot by the bank, and the person I had inadvertantly clicked on had my old guild member targetted. I decided to visit. I was invited to the group, and I thought they were doing the weekly, instead we ended up doing ICC 10, clearing 10 bosses easily (except a couple shots at Green Dragon Heals Thing) as a PUG.

Turny picked up a nice
Lifetap Upgrade, which I put on the same button as Truny's lifetap. Also, is the buff in the raid at its max now? Cause everyone had 30K+ health? How could anyone die to begin with??

Ok goodbye.

How Classy of You to Join Us

(At an upscale men's clothing store in Hong Kong. Note that Klupty and Momo were the only two in the store, along with the single employee who was helping us try on various pieces. In comes this couple. They proceed to randomly choose items from all over the store, making a big deal out of choosing a lot.)

Husband: "Yeah these look nice, I'll take it", as he grabs an assortment of plain dress shirts. (They are about $1,200-$2,000 HKD each for reference.)

Wife: "How about these ties", holding up a random bunch of ties, green, brown, pink.

Husband: "Yeah, just get them all"

(This goes on for a good ten minutes until they are ready to pay)

Employee: "Sir would you like to try those on, we have a no return policy here."

Husband: "No, whatever I'll just bring them home and worry about it then, I'm a really busy man you know!", he proclaims loudly.

Wife: "Hey what about these shirts? The colors are so nice!", she's looking at the pile near the register.

Husband: "Yeah throw some of those on too". (They were the slim cuts and he was probably 180+ lbs)

Employee: "Thank you your total will be $32,240.00"

Couple: *Pays and leaves in a flourish*

Us: *Standing in shock and horror*

Employee: "Haha don't worry, I know probably only those ties would have fit him, I hate people like that, let him waste his money!"

P.S. OOPS I posted this in the wrong blog LMAO completely not WoW related but whatever enjoy!

DING 70

Mechanar, Botanica, Murmur, Bird Trinket Man bang bang bang bang DING 70!

At 70, priests learn Mass Dispel: fun times.

A few levels ago, Husbrus also got to play with Prayer of Mending. SO THATS WHAT THAT IS! It's kinda fun seeing it bounce around randomly saving people's asses. It's sort of RNGish, sort of even though I sometimes just recast it on the tank, but...it's dingable.

Now it's either BC Heroics (YAY) or the typical Worthland..err...wrathcrown...what's the ice thing expansion stuff called again LMAO....lich king dungeons! Boring! Maybe I should cap husbrus at 70 and just keep BC Heroics. Yes yes.

Husbrus Say What?

Dun dun dun it's been decided Truny's next project is to fund Husbrus all the way to 80!

Who is Husbrus Again?

My priest! I've been healing as a discipline priest on Husbrus and she is already 61 as we speak!

Oh the fun times traversing through RLFG (or whatever that group random thinger is called).

We're had our good-but-are-asshole tanks. We've had our bad-just-looking-to-wipe-everyone-tanks. However most tanks nowadays are competent, along with most DPS......it's really really weird and boring!

I don't know, but I think I like discipling healing more than I like restoration druid healing...I think.

I think I am so used to Power Word Shield, cause you just set it and forget it (well not really, I watch for it to disappear, and watch DoTimer for Weakened Soul to fade), I still cast Renew because of the inner druid in me, though I think this spell is used by Holy Priests more??

Then there's Holy nova! I can heal and damage at the same time OMFG! And I can jump around like a crazy while doing so! Double points!

The use of flash heal is...meh still iffy it's.....too slow! With the talent Borrowed Time, it takes 1.1 seconds to cast WTF?

Though I do miss swiftmend and wildgrowth, it's obvious those used to spamming wild growth for no goddamn reason will spam Holy Nova for no goddamn reason as well!

I'm straying off topic again, as usual.

Hitting level 60 also means a new spell: Penance.

Penance is so cool.

It's so strong. 1.7k healing crits per FWOP = ~5-6K potential heals, 3k minimum all for roughly the same mana cost as flash heal!

Talented, the cooldown is 8 seconds, much more accessible than swiftmend!

Oh I have a question. This stresses me out. Why do priests have so many effing heals?

Heal, Lesser Heal, Greater Heal, Flash Heal.

What the hell is just "Heal", and "Lesser Heal", why do they still have these spells..don't they go something like this:

Heal: Heal 500 for 300 mana 2 seconds.
Lesser Heal: Heal 100 for 200 mana 1.5 seconds
Greater Heal: Heal 2000 for 400 mana 2.5 seconds
Flash Heal: Heal 1000 for 200 mana 1.5 seconds. WTF this just made the first two spells obsolete WTF WTF??

Why does the game start us off with the most useless healing spells? Think starting off with HEALING TOUCH as a druid (LOLOLOLOLOL)

But yeah, Penance is cool. Dot dot dot.

My plan is to obtain the "dungeon" set for casters and socket 'em with epic gems, since Klupty had dozens and dozens of rubies laying around for when Truny used to upgrade her equipment like it was raining 'em back in the ICC gear days.

The Original Klupty - Returns from Manhattan

Oh right I never even stated I had left. Whatever.

If you can remember correctly, Truny is a bastardization of Turby which is actually the name of Klupty's dog.

Who's Klupty?

That was my original alias for online everythings. Yeah go ahead and try googling "Klupty" you'll see references to MapleStory (lmao) and probably some of my old abandoned blogs.

When I made my first hunter I tried to be creative, so I named him Turby the dog instead of using Klupty, the original name.

Klupty ended up as my DK, the JC/Alchemy Slave we all love.

That is no more.

I made an Alliance character, a hunter, named Klupty. His trusty dog (but actually Bear) Turby has been by his side for 20 levels now. Yes, he is level 30.

Starting from scratch again is fun. No money, no help, no heirlooms. However I play this "fresh" hunter with such vigor that not even warrior tanks can keep up with his damage in dungeons. Yeah its that crazy. Have you seen a new character kite, offtank, and dps and live to tell the story like Klupty? Probably not. And you probably wouldn't care or appreciate it as a fellow newbie.

For this new character I am doing everything my original hunter ought to have done.

Such as actually work on professions like Cooking, Fishing, and that other one with band-aids.

He is a skinner, and leatherworker, self sufficient, with a small wealth amassed at 30 gold currently.

Another reason to start an ally hunter was to see some of the starter zones before they got flooded, just to experience the original stuffs yes.

Aaand yeah so I like totally lost my train of thought so BAI!!

Oh my god shouldn't have looked!

Warlocks deep in the demonology tree can summon a freakin meteor?? It's a Not Yet Implemented ability but how effen cool would that be? It's like summoning the Infernal and the coolest part was actually the meteor he arrives in that goes KABOOM and burns everything!

I took a look at some of the tailored items we can make, item level 359?? It's just a blue item but its 100 points over ICC 25 items and where's the spell power? 355 int and 522 stamina, that's more stamina than most tanks have from all their gear in T8?

OH YEAAH cause Spellpower is being removed, this is gonna be complicated, yeah not dumbed down now INT constitutes all our attributes except haste and hit? What? How much spellpower is 1 INT I need to know RIGHT NOW!

Rawwr look at all the new dungeons, I love new dungeons and will run them until I get all the loot I need out of them then never go to them again! I need to know RIGHT NOW what every boss drops and which dungeon I will be running to get which item and then never run it again because we're sick and tired of this!

Wait where's Shadowfang Keep?

Skywall? How are we supposed to acronymize that? LFM H S? Just S? What?

We have ToT, HoO o.O, GB oh wait what Grim Batol WOOT that giant mysterious building!, TS, the stonecore (ok putting "The" in front of it is in bad taste), Blackrock Caverns, bc? Burning Crusade? That'll never get any customers.

Remember when TOC 5 man dungeon came out we'd try to balance our parties with all different classes because of all the good loot? Oh jeez.

Raawr ok actually I'm going to stop looking at all this tentative info and just enjoy it slowly via exploration.

Lootlicious Day

When I got really bored one day so many months back and spent most of my gold on a battered hilt for my Warlock, she officially became my main character and the rest of my toons just sat around casually doing dungeons and the occasional raid to gear up.

Turby. The hunter. Still remember him and his quest for the Pit of Saron crossbow?

Well, he was very much the loot-whore yesterday being super undergeared but still pulling his weight floating at the mid 5k dps range. Essentially before we needed a third healer, which is Turny the Restless tree, each of the first five encounters dropped a significant upgrade for Turby!

Isn't that gross? An entire dual-wield set of Axes, which both look the same, a new BOW, two rings, one from rep, and a necklace! Gross!! It's still sad how Truny can still do triple Turby's damage output....for now!

Truny's Warlock Tips: Deathbringer Saurfang

Deathbringer Saurfang aka Deathbringer Lootfang is the final boss of the lower spire in Icecrown Citadel.

He does...stuff and the tanks have to do something up on the stairs and throughout the battle he will summon Blood Beasts.

What do we do? Set up a summoning portal near the back of the room just in case. You'll know why. Turn your felguard's cleave off. SPREAD OUT.

Why? This boss is essentially a tank and spank with some adds killing. When the blood beasts spawn, all ranged dps will switch to them. Two spawn in 10-man and four spawn in 25-man. When blood beasts hit anyone, it means bad things so don't get hit. I'm not getting technical or even mentioning what abilities it triggers, just make sure no one gets hit from them, or at least reduce the frequency of them melee'ing anyone. This is why our Felguard's cleave is turned off, in case they catch the attention of a blood beast and starts stacking nasty buffs onto the boss.

This is why we have a summoning stone. Just in case. When the blood beasts spawn, switch your dps to them and once they begin to aggro you or anyone else, send your Felguard onto it, which will trigger the Felguard's "charge", which stuns the beast for three/four seconds (I forget ok). Usually the beast will be downed by now. Then switch back to Saurfang.

The reason we spread out for this fight is because Saurfang has some ability that does damage. (DUH LMAO). Well, the more people stacked together, the more damage it does OBVIOUSLY, and this also buffs the boss. Spread out! These are just tips, not entire raid strategies to down him jeez! I believe it is 12 yards for this fight.

IF the blood beasts still are not dead after being stunned/rooted and are coming towards you then you can use your portal YAY!

Alternative Method: HOWEVER, you can choose to NOT kill the blood beasts and just focus on Saurfang. This way your DPS will be maximized since switching wastes global cooldowns and after the fight you can link your l33t d33ps to emphasize your large penis or sexy breasts.

Truny's Warlock Tips: Gunship Battle

The Gunship Battle, aka Lootship is the third encounter in Icecrown Citadel. Once you get the mechanics of this battle, and have been through say 15 seconds of it is actually really really boring. You will see most groups turn this encounter on to heroic mode just for the better loots. Go figure.

What Do We Do? Wait didn't I do a little guide on this already? Oh well takes me like two minutes to type this anyways. Ok if you are assigned to guns. Aim at the enemy boat, possibly at some of the enemy mobs, and spam the "1" button until your "HEAT" gauge located on the right fills up to about 85+, then hit 2. Rinse and repeat.

You will hear the opposite faction leader say something like "Get a mage out here", then your cannon will freeze.

Now you can either wait for a tank to jump over to the other ship via the rocket-shirt, and kill the mage freezing your guns. Or you can help kill mobs that have spawned on your ship.

And then? Rinse and repeat and you win its so boring. I like to use my Voidwalker here and use his Sacrifice shield to absorb gunshot wounds and mortar wounds.

Ok go loot the chest.
